Qualifying and being accepted into the Boston Marathon is an amazing accomplishment! But the road to Boston starts right here in San Diego. If you've registered and been accepted into the Boston Marathon, why not train with San Diego Track Club's program tailored for Boston-bound runners?!
2026 is your year! Whether it’s your first time running Boston or you could run the course with your eyes closed, this is your opportunity to show yourself how well you can run it. San Diego Track Club's Boston+ Training Program will provide you coaching and structure as you prepare to conquer the course and you'll join a community of Boston-bound runners to keep you motivated along the way.
If you have a Boston qualifying time, or are running under four hours, and are training for another spring World Major Marathon (i.e. Tokyo or London) we would love to have you train with us this year. If you are unsure if you should train with the Boston+ group, please reach out!
This year’s training program spans the 22 weeks you’ve come to expect from SDTC. We are continuing the new additions we made to the program in the past two years:
PLUS! You'll have the option to add-on affordable strength and conditioning program and/or a nutrition program to your registration. The strength program is 6 months long and customized for distance runners. The nutrition program is individualized for your body (gender, age, height, weight) and training intensity. This year, your optional strength and conditioning program will be housed on our Novos training app. You will have the benefit of data tracking your workouts, as well as your training subjectives. Our app includes in-app messaging with your coaches. If you have a question that can’t wait for the next long run, fire it off while you train.
