Get ready to run, walk, and shine at the MI Bright Lights Dancing Bulbs Dash 5K Run/Walk & Non-Timed Walk at beautiful Camp Dearborn in Milford, Michigan!
Part of the festive MI Bright Lights holiday experience, the Dancing Bulbs Dash combines the excitement of a holiday 5K with the magic of a spectacular light-filled setting. Participants will make their way through Camp Dearborn surrounded by colorful holiday lights, festive displays, and plenty of festive cheer.
Grab your friends, family, holiday sweaters, and glowing accessories and come light up the course at the Dancing Bulbs Dash!

The party starts before you even arrive! Bring your friends, family, running crew or coworkers and make it a night to remember.
Get dropped off ready to experience the Dancing Bulbs Dash, festive lights, photo ops, bonfires, food, and all the holiday fun! All riders will receive their race bib and pre-purchased swag when they check onto the bus so no wait in the reg line!
And when the race is over, your ride is waiting to take you home—no worrying about traffic, parking or who is driving.

Course
For one special night, the roads through MI Bright Lights at Camp Dearborn will be closed to vehicle traffic, giving you the unique opportunity to experience the spectacular light display on foot! Leave the car behind, grab your family and friends, and enjoy the lights from a whole new perspective as you run or walk through this magical holiday wonderland. It’s a rare chance to slow down, take it all in, and experience MI Bright Lights up close and on foot!
Runner and walker friendly! The course is paved lit by thousands of dancing lights!
There is a 90 minute time limit to complete the course.
Aid Station
Please note there is no fluid station along the route. Feel free to bring fluids to carry along the course if you think you will need it!
Post-Race Fun
The fun doesn't stop at the finish line! Finish your adventure with holiday character photo opportunities, warm and cozy bonfires, add-on delicious food and refreshments to pair with your finisher hot cocoa and cookie! It's the perfect place to celebrate your finish, take photos, warm up, and make lasting holiday memories with family and friends.

Can we walk the 5k?
Yes! This is a very walker friendly course! You can choose to be in the timed division or the non-timed walk!
Is it stroller friendly?
Strollers will be great 5K. Bundle up those little riders! If the little ones would like race medal and cocoa at the end you will need to register them.
Can someone else pick up my packet?
Yes!
Can friends and family come and volunteer?

How does the music work?
