What happens if I win game tickets and the game is postponed or rescheduled or otherwise restricted?

In the event that any items are cancelled or postponed or made impractical or impossible for any reason, including, but not limited to, pandemic, government order, act of God, lockout, strike or other work stoppage, EAF reserves the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.

If I win an item in the Auction, can I use the items to raise money for another charity?

No. All items must be used by the winning bidder and cannot be transferred or resold. The item may not be used in conjunction with another fundraiser.

What are the bid increments?

Bid increments vary by item. Please check the description of each item on Haku for specific bid information.

Is there a minimum or maximum bid amount?

The minimum bids vary per item. Please check the description of each item on haku for specific bid information. There is no maximum bid!

Can I place a maximum bid on an item?

Yes, you can type in a maximum bid on Haku.

Max bidding makes it easier for bidders to outbid others without having to constantly check the current bid of an item.

How It Works: If another bidder bids more than your current bid, the system will automatically bid up by a minimum raise ($100 or more) until your max bid is reached. You will be notified by text message (if you opted into messaging) every time the system bids for you.

The system will NOT bid for you unless you have been outbid. The system will only bid the minimum amount unless the item is bid up to your maximum bid.

How do I pay for the Auction items I just purchased?

If you win an item, the credit card on your Haku account will automatically be charged within forty- eight (48) hours of the conclusion of the Auction unless you contact Eagles Autism Foundation at info@eaglesautismfoundation.org to arrange for an alternative payment method. See Payment Policy below for full details.

Can I cancel or retract my bid?

No. All bids are final and binding on the bidding party. By submitting a bid, bidders agree that if their bid is the winning bid, they will purchase the item at the price represented by the bid. Bidders acknowledge and agree that by submitting a bid they are authorizing Eagles Autism Foundation to charge the credit card they provide during registration in the event they are the winning bidder.

Are winning bids tax-deductible?

The winning bid is tax-deductible less the fair market value of the item. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify the amount of deduction.

How and when will I receive the Auction items?

Some items have dates attached to the experience. Please make sure to note these dates, as the winning bidder may not request new dates. You will be contacted by a representative of Eagles Autism Foundation within twenty-four (24) hours of the conclusion of the Auction. Items will be mailed to the winner by Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
